Hodge BioMotion Orthopedics, our staff works closely with patients to help them

Medicine and Technology. With new surgical techniques, Surgical

In 1989 W. Andrew Hodge, M.D, relocated his clinical
joint replacement practice from Massachusetts General Hospital and its
associated Orthopaedic Research Lab from MIT to its headquarters at Jupiter
Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida.
As Medical Director of the Hodge BioMotion Orthopedic
center, Doctor Hodge's medical research goals are to accurately analyze the
biomechanics of the hip and knee joints allowing better implant design and
surgical technique. In 1984, Dr. Hodge implanted a radio-telemetry hip joint in
a patient which, for the first time, measured the stress on the hip during
activities of daily living.
